NU 110th Foundation Day

NUHS Batch 1983 attended the 110th Foundation Day of our Alma Mater on August 1, 2010. Sumptuous lunch together with our batchmates and sing-a-along moments in the afternoon, Grabe! It was a great and memorable day for us especially during the Homecoming Dinner we were able to see some old faces... schoolmates... barkadas... especially our beloved teachers and school staff. Kakamiss talaga ang high school days! By the way, with deep appreciation to our batchmates, Allan Cortez and Teresa Sy for our Alumni T-shirts.. Bongga talaga!

OUR CLASS VALEDICTORIAN (BOYS)

FREDERICK S. CRUZ, our class valedictorian (boys section) had passed away on August 24, 2010 and his remains lie in Marian Memorial Homes in Marikina. Frederick will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Please pray for his eternal repose.

May you rest in peace..bro!

The 6th MONTHLY MEETING

The monthly meeting held last July 18, 2010 at Fe Bagay-Rival's Place during her birthday celebration. Lots of important matters were discussed including the NU 11oth Foundation Day celebration, the alumni breakfast for a cause, motorcades and dinner. Donald Valle provided the initial cash deposit for the opening of savings account intended for the group's funds. Monthly dues of P100.00 per month were also approved during the meeting and that will start from January up to present, so we owe the group P700.00 as of July. This monthly due shall be collected every meeting and those batchmates in other country can deposit their dues to the said bank account which we are going to announce later. Tshirts for the group were sponsored by Thess Sy (Australia) and Alan Cortez (California, USA) and shall be used on Aug. 1 motorcade. And of course meeting ended up with the sumptuous dinner prepared by the birthday celebrants. Ma'am Tena as always present during our meeting also enjoyed the dinner prepared by Fe. Hope to see all on our 7th monthly meeting. Cheers!

THE 5th MONTHLY MEETING - JUNE 5, 2010

The 5th Monthly Meeting was another day to remember..Grabe at bundat kaming lahat sa food. All our girl batchmates show off their talents in cooking especially the Spicy Tahong... The Inihaw na Liempo and Tilapia really taste good. Thanks to Romeo and Gladys for bringing Pancit Malabon. If you don't believe me just look at our photos and maglaway kayo sa inggit....hehehe! Also, Ramil Sanidad's wife Evelyn prepared a delicious fruit salad for dessert. Just added to our list of active attendees: Ronnie Marcelino and Dennis Pidlaoan. Romeo Domingo is returning to Bahrain on Saturday but no worries folks because Gladys Domingo (his better half) will represent him in every meeting...yeheey! To those batchmates who missed the event, well see you next meeting.

THE 3rd MONTHLY MEETING

THE 4th MONTHLY MEETING POSTPONED!

Base on the last update we received from our batchmates, majority are not attending this event. So we decided to postponed and reschedule our 4th meeting some other time. Our main purpose of the monthly meeting is to increase the attendees and not to reduce it. According to Choi, who sponsor the venue, it's much better if everybody can come because she's renting the whole place just for us. So please inform us when is the best date that everybody can come so we can reschedule the venue for that specific date. Text me or Flora DeVeza ASAP!

MONTHLY DUES

ATTENTION: BATCHMATES! Starting May 7, 2010, we are going to start collecting contribution or monthly due for our organization. It was discussed and agreed upon by the organization ad hoc committee last monthly meeting. The money will be deposited in a financial institution which will be announced later. The money shall be used to finance fund raising project, future community services (e.g. Medical Mission, etc.) and financial assistance to our less fortunate batchmates/alumni. Marlene Flora (Acting Treasurer) and Fe Bagay-Rival (Asst. Treasurer) are the signatories. Jose Marie Reyes (Acting Auditor) will monitor the financial activity of the organization. Financial Statement shall be posted on this group and our website for the members to see. Membership Due is compulsory every month and the amount is P200.00 (minimum). Batchmates may contribute more than the amount due especially those financially stabled members (nasa abroad...hehehe). Thank you in advance and more power to all of us!

This is our 4th Monthly Meeting with picnic and swimming. I would like to inform everybody that this time, we're inviting your family to join with us on this special event. It's an overnight celebration.

Our contribution is for the transportation and it will depend on how many are... coming to this event. POTLUCK po sa foods and drinks, but please bring extra ha!
